Chamber of Commerce - The Florence Chamber of Commerce is a collective group of businesses and individuals dedicated to the economic healthand development of our city, and the dedication to encouragement and the establishment of new business. American Legion - The American Legion is a group of men and women who have served in the Armed Forces during times of war or conflict. The Florence post of the American Legion is involved in community activities as well as supporting those who have served our country.If you are interested in joining the American Legion, please contact Post Commander Reilly Reid at 620-878-4309. Advance Lodge - Members
of the Freemasons, the oldest fraternity in the world, the Advance
Lodge is dedicated to the same ideals as the international organization:
Making things better in the world; Individual growth and development; Boy Scouts - The Florence Boy Scouts hold weekly meetings every Tuesday, as well as frequent outings and camping trips. Florence Historical Society - The Florence Historical Society is a volunteer group of citizens dedicated to preserving the history of Florence. They hold regular monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Harvey House Museum. To read more, please see the "Harvey House" section of our site.PRIDE - Florence has
a very active PRIDE Program which is involved in many community projects,
including the addition of planters in the downtown area which were
